Nach einem Autounfall verliert Suzanne (Valérie Bonneton) das Sorgerecht für ihre drei Kinder. Sie hat keine Wahl mehr und muss sich in einem Zentrum für Alkoholiker behandeln lassen. Gleich bei ihrer Ankunft trifft sie Alice (Sabrina Ouazani) und Diane (Michèle Laroque), zwei Frauen mit starkem Charakter. Denis (Clovis Cornillac), ein Sportlehrer, versucht, sie für ein gemeinsames Ziel zusammenzubringen: die Teilnahme an der Dunes Rally in der marokkanischen Wüste. Er muss sich mit viel Geduld und pädagogischem Geschick wappnen, um diese unwahrscheinliche Crew auf das Erreichen ihres Ziels vorzubereiten.
